Debbie

Debbie is a clinical Naturopath specialising in thyroid health, hormonal balance, and digestive support.

Driven by her own experience with Hashimoto’s, Debbie knows how isolating it can feel to search for answers and be met with dismissive advice.

Her approach combines evidence-based research with a personalised, whole-body approach to uncover and address the root causes of health issues, particularly those affecting women in the busy stages of life.

Her holistic approach integrates comprehensive testing and thorough case history, using insights from these results to guide treatment strategies that are uniquely tailored to her clients’ needs. She focuses on empowering women to restore energy, mental clarity, and hormonal balance, helping them feel grounded in their health once again.

Debbie is experienced in treating conditions such as:

· Hashimoto’s thyroiditis

· Graves disease

· Hypothyroidism

· Perimenopause and menopausal transitions

· Hormonal imbalances and mood fluctuations

· Urinary health

· Digestive issues

My mission is to create a supportive, empowering space for women to rediscover their health. I believe that by getting to the heart of what our bodies truly need, we can unlock lasting change.

Outside of her practice, Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring Sydney’s  outdoors, and experimenting with nutritious recipes.

Consulting on Monday’s and Fridays.

 I suffered from:

  • What I thought was reflux – a tight feeling in my throat

  • Insomnia and poor sleep

  • Constant exhaustion

  • A creep of weight gain around the middle – even though I’ve never had an issue maintaining my weight

  • A loss of motivation to do anything other than what I absolutely had to do

  • The feeling that I just wasn’t myself

At the time, I blamed it on my age, my stress levels, how busy I was. But in the clinic, I started to see more and more clients who had thyroid conditions. I asked myself – why does everyone seem to have a thyroid condition these days?

I began to research and treat many people with thyroid issues, particularly women. But it wasn’t until I saw my GP to scope my throat that my bloods showed up with sub-clinical hypothyroidism.

The penny dropped.

It made so much sense. I had pushed my body to the brink with my pregnancies, my lifestyle, raising my family. And now it had come to collect – with interest.

Once I knew what was going on, I did a complete overhaul of my life. Using the diet, nutrition, lifestyle and herbal skills I had developed, I was able to rebalance and nourish my exhausted thyroid.

There are so many women walking around with a thyroid that is simply not working the way it is designed to. There are so many doctors that fob their patients off because they don’t know how to test and identify thyroid disease, particularly if it’s sub-clinical.

We blame it on ageing, peri-menopause, menopause, being busy all the time, being a mother, being a woman.

If you are experiencing symptoms that make you feel like you’re not yourself anymore – please don’t settle for these excuses! Work with a professional who has extensive clinical and personal experience. We know how to test to uncover hidden thyroid disease and how to support your thyroid effectively.

How I work with clients

My first priority is to put my own health and wellbeing.

What does this mean?

I don’t book clients back to back or work 5+ days a week

My days are shorter – I start a little later, and finish a little earlier

I’m not glued to social media or emails, so you’re unlikely to get an instant reply from me

I include regular breakfast to recharge, eat, hydrate, clear my mind and my energy so I am fully present and clear for you

However, this does mean that you may have to wait to get an appointment with me.
